Glitch found to cause failure of data transmission from satellite
January 30, 2006The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said Monday it has found a glitch in its land-observation satellite ''Daichi'' that causes a data transmission failure when the satellite tries to send information to a station on the ground. The agency said it has set up a special team to investigate it.
