H-2A rocket launch postponed to Tue. or later due to malfunction
January 22, 2006The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said Monday it has decided to postpone the launch of a land-observation satellite to Tuesday or later due to a malfunction in the ground equipment. The H-2A rocket, which is carrying the Advanced Land Observing Satellite, nicknamed ''Daichi,'' was scheduled to be launched in the morning from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture. ==Kyodo
