Stem cell scientist Hwang's 2004 Science paper faked, panel says
January 9, 2006South Korea's disgraced stem cell scientist Hwang Woo Suk faked research results on his production of the embryonic stem cells, published in the U.S. journal Science in 2004, an investigation committee said Tuesday. ''The committee concluded that results described in the 2004 Science article including DNA fingerprinting analyses and photographs of cells have also been fabricated,'' Chung Myung Hee, chief of the committee, said at a news conference.
