WWF Russia urges people to forgo caviar during New Year's holidays

The conservation group WWF Russia has launched a campaign urging people not to eat caviar during the New Year's holidays to protect the dwindling population of sturgeon, which is rapidly being depleted by poaching. Caviar, often dubbed ''black gold,'' is a popular delicacy for celebrations in Russia, one of the world's top caviar exporters.
