The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency is considering developing a high-tech space suit to participate in a project envisaged by the United States to send astronauts to the moon in 2018, agency officials said Wednesday. By drawing on technological prowess from the nation's academia, industry and government sectors, the agency is hoping to produce a suit for astronauts to wear when conducting exploration activities on the surface of the moon, the officials said.
