March 13, 2006The opening of the Akiba Ichi complex in Akihabara on March 9 has added some thirty new restaurants to this neighborhood of electronics stores, cosplay shops and maid cafes. Many of the restaurants are on the inexpensive side, and a number of them focus on unusual specialties - miso soup, or okayu with beans, or oyako-don. Here are a few interesting-looking choices.
