February 1, 2006A ferry with about 150 people on board sank late Tuesday in high waves and strong currents in eastern Indonesia, local police officials said Wednesday. ''Several navy vessels have picked up 71 people from the sea,'' a local sea police officer, Okto Wadu, told Kyodo News from the East Nusa Tenggara provincial capital of Kupang.
