Fuji TV to assess Livedoor assets to help reconstruction
January 26, 2006Fuji Television Network Inc. called on Livedoor Co. on Thursday to provide detailed corporate financial data in order to assess the assets of the Internet services firm as part of efforts to help reconstruct its business ally, company sources said. The major Japanese TV broadcaster is believed to be aiming to strengthen its ties with the new management of Livedoor announced after prosecutors arrested earlier this week its former executives for alleged securities law violations.
