Honda quadruples production capacity at Wuhan plant
February 26, 2006Honda Motor Co. held a ceremony Sunday in Wuhan, Hubei Province, to mark the completion of the upgrading of its joint-venture plant, with the annual production capacity there quadrupled to 120,000 units. Honda plans to boost its annual production capacity throughout China by 60 percent from the current level to 530,000 units by also expanding the production line this year at its joint-venture plant in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
