Aioi Insurance to sell British unit to Shinsei Bank
December 30, 2005Aioi Insurance Co. said Friday it will sell its British reinsurance unit to a joint venture set up by Shinsei Bank and Castlewood Holdings Ltd. for about 12.4 billion yen. The deal is expected to be completed in the April-June period of 2006, it said.
