Toyota suspends operations at all domestic factories due to snow

Toyota Motor Corp. suspended operations at all of the 15 factories run by the automaker and its affiliates in Japan on Friday due to heavy snow that has hit a wide area of the archipelago, company officials said. The suspensions are in response to the delay in parts supplies to these factories using land transportation due to snow, the officials said.

Toyota cars get top scores in China market survey

Midsize cars produced by Toyota Motor Corp. ranked at the top of a China auto market quality survey, a U.S. market research firm said in a statement on Friday. According to the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2005 China Initial Quality Study, midsize cars receiving the fewest complaints in China were the Toyota Camry, Vios and Corolla.
